2023: TriVerse Knee Replacement Implant Comes to Market
On September 5, 2023, Exactech announced the launch of the TriVerse primary knee replacement system. This solution complements Exactech's knee-deep product range, including Truliant's award-winning primary and revision systems, and Newton's integrated bundle balancing platform.
TriVerse is a scientifically based and optimized product whose design draws on the successful clinical experience of previous generations of knee joint systems. TriVerse is designed with a simplified approach but offers a complete set of primary knee implants.
The new system includes elements stabilized at the front and rear. Next generation crosslinked polyethylene with antioxidant vitamin E is used, which provides benefits for patients. TriVerse implants are available with a fully functional set of mechanical tools designed to be effective in surgical procedures.
One of the first TriVerse installation operations was performed by orthopedic surgeons Chris Christensen of Bluegrass Orthopaedics in Lexington (Kentucky) and David Taunton Jr. (Jr.) of Texas Orthopedic Specialists in Bedford (Texas). According to them, the system provides high efficiency and ease of use.
The simplicity and intraoperative flexibility of the new Exactech knee system facilitates procedures and allows patients to lead active lives, says Taunton. |
Headquartered in Gainesville, Florida, Exactech sells its products in the United States, as well as in more than 30 markets in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific. The start of mass deliveries of TriVerse is scheduled for 2024.[1]
