Trinity-FLASH of a HSS

The Setec company, the Russian developer of solutions for data protection, announced in August, 2013 creation of a product for creation of the protected IT infrastructures – the hardware and software system (HSS) of Trinity-FLASH. This development significantly expands a range of opportunities of a HSS of Trinity, allowing practically any computer having USB port to act as the full-fledged security terminal.

Against the background of permanent increase in number of information threats many companies are faced the need of transition from the existing IT infrastructure to infrastructure of the protected thin client. The solution of this task is integrated, as a rule, to a problem of updating of the park of jobs and step-by-step replacement of the available machines on terminal stations.

The HSS of Trinity-FLASH was developed, mainly, for simplification of this process and also simplification of stages of implementation and scaling of a HSS of Trinity (the boxed solution Setec implementing technology of terminal access with support to the strengthened authentication, ghosts, multilevel access isolation and general audit of events).

Among key features of a new product it is possible to call the strengthened authentication of the equipment and users in a system, ensuring integrity of OS, and, the most important, a possibility of use h86 devices as the terminal. The last is reached due to installation of a specialized firmware loader on a non-volatile memory of the authenticating ruToken-Flash carrier. Thus, on the compact removable medium not only authentication data for access to corporate resources, but also the entrusted operating system are stored. It not only provides mobility of users, but also simplifies process of the organization of remote jobs and "home-offices".

Other advantage of a HSS of Trinity-FLASH is the possibility of use of the old PCs, monoblocks and notebooks having the USB connector as the protected terminal workstations. Such approach facilitates migration on new IT infrastructure or scaling of already existing system, reducing finance, labor and time expenditure of the organization.
