TrueConf Directory

TrueConf Directory is a product for consolidation of the user bases of several TrueConf Server servers and interaction between them.

On December 5, 2013 the TrueConf company presented the new software solution TrueConf Directory 1.0.0. focused on large-scale users of the systems of a video conferencing.

Description

TrueConf Directory is the uniform data warehouse about users of several TrueConf Server servers integrated with the roaming function help. The solution is developed especially for customers with the large distributed VIDEOCONFERENCING infrastructure containing several VKS servers and thousands of subscribers.

After deployment in network of the customer of TrueConf Directory in user client applications standard search among subscribers of the VIDEOCONFERENCING current server to which the user is connected is replaced with search among all groups and all users of several independent TrueConf Server servers connected to the TrueConf Directory directory.

Now the client applications connected to the different TrueConf Server servers have an opportunity (at the request of the customer) the organizations of sessions of a video conferencing directly, viewing lists of subscribers of external servers. For the end user it will be single solution in which he will be able quickly and qualitatively to organize a video call or a conference with subscribers, irrespective of their location.

Safety of the solution is ensured by arrangement of the directory in network of the customer and complete control over it, as well as the list of the connected servers.

Search through TrueConf Directory is implemented in client applications for Windows and Android — TrueConf Client 6.4.0 and TrueConf Mobile 1.2.0. In new versions of a product support of client applications for iOS and OS X is expected.
