The program server of video conferences – VideoPort VCS – represents the software product working on the computer running the Microsoft Windows Server operating system of versions 2000 2003 and 2008. Client applications work running operating systems of Microsoft Windows 2000 XP Vista 7. This program is intended for the organization of a multi-user video conferencing in the local area network and via the Internet. The software product is optimized for work as a large number of online users and allows to see once to 250 conferences.

The solution for the VKS organization – VideoPort VCS – is a successor of such widely used software products as VideoPort SBS, VideoPort SBS Plus and VideoPort Enterpise. This solution was purposefully created for fast embedding in network infrastructure of any enterprise, educational or public institution. Special mechanisms of integration with network services of the organization will allow network administrators to begin to use a product in day of receiving its distribution kit. Implementation cost in this case becomes minimum even in comparison with other software products for VKS.

Thanks to the proprietary VideoPort Cyclon codec users can use personal videos calls business of quality already at speeds from 128 Kbps, and group conferences at speeds from 256 Kbps, and also in the conditions of unstable communication channels. At the same time on network from each of participants video a flow with the resolution from 480x360 and more is transferred. The network server architecture of the solution allows to perform communication not only in the local area network, but also because of NAT, Filewall and through Proxy of the server, without breaking at the same time network security of network.

As names of subscribers in a system the normal e-mail addresses (e-mail) are used that naturally does your network by convenient means for internal communications. Functionality

• The personal video call is the call between two users allowing to set connection at which both participants will see and hear each other.
• Group video conference (multi-user video conference) allows to connect among themselves at the same time up to 16 participants, at the same time all participants see and hear each other.
• Video broadcasting is a type of a conference where no more than 16 people participate, and all participants see and hear only - broadcasting one, and it can see and hear all others.
• Conference call (Role video conference) allows to bring together in one conference up to 90 * participants. At the same time all attendees can see and hear at the same time up to 3 speakers, participate actively in discussion, sending a request for broadcasting, using audio-remarks or communicating on a chat.
• Text messaging is instant text messaging (Chat).
• File transfer allows to transfer different files directly to the interlocutor without use of third-party file exchange programs and additional technical means.
• Demonstration of the presentations allows to show to the interlocutor (or to interlocutors) the presentation: drawings, photos, charts during the video conference session. Import of the presentations of Microsoft Power Point is supported.
• Demonstration of a desktop allows to transfer to video broadcast of the current desktop to interlocutors in real time.
• Record of a video call allows to record video and audio flows of one of conferees.
• The electronic board gives the chance to participants of personal video conference in a separate window to draw, enter and edit text or graphic data, using at the same time different graphic tools.

VideoPort VCS 3.1.2
