2022: Cerimonia lifting the Navy flank on the submarine
On November 16, 2022, under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, a ceremony was held to raise the Andreevsky naval flag on the project 636.3 Ufa diesel-electric submarine.
According to TASS, citing a statement by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in accordance with the announced order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Ufa is enrolled in the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet). She became the fourth in a series of six Project 636.3 submarines under construction for the Pacific Fleet.
According to Evmenov, the submarines of this project are equipped with the most modern weapons, and their high combat qualities are confirmed by the successful fulfillment of the assigned tasks in the Black and Mediterranean Seas, as well as in the Arctic.

The transfer of the Ufa submarine indicates that our shipyards do not slow down the pace of work and fulfill on time obligations to supply ships for the Russian Navy, - said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. |
According to open data, the tactical and technical characteristics of submarines of project 636.3 are as follows: sailing autonomy - 45 days, maximum diving depth - 300 meters, diving range at an economical speed - 400 miles, cruising range in RDP mode (engine operation under water - IF) with an increased fuel reserve at a speed of 7 knots - 7,500 miles, the number of torpedo tubes - 6. Underwater speed - 18 knots. The crew is 52 people.
The armament of the Ufa submarine may include 6 533 mm forward torpedo tubes with automatic loading, 18 torpedoes, 24 mines, Caliber 4 missiles, Strela-3 or Igla MANPADS and 8 missiles.
The submarine has an optimal combination of acoustic stealth and target detection range, the latest inertial navigation system, an automated information and control system, and powerful torpedo and missile weapons.[1]
