Ugene is the integrated platform of bioinformation science for work with the genomic and proteinaceous sequences.
A system helps to carry out:
- analysis
- annotation
- comparison
- search
- alignment
- modeling
- complex calculations
Using Ugene well pair or multiple alignment of the nucleotide and amino-acid sequences to broadcast the nucleotide sequences, to pick up primers, to construct phylogenetic trees, to carry out search of homologs, to analyze data of sequencing and so forth. Tasks such regularly rise in biological laboratories.
Ugene gives an opportunity of the automatic analysis of molecular and biological and genetic data, creating complex visual schemes for their processing. Ample opportunities of the graphical interface do work convenient and visual for users.
Ugene works at Windows, Mac OS, Linux. The product is simple in installation and use, is equipped with the Russian-language interface.
2016: Release of a bionews program of UGENE 1.22.0
In the spring of 2016 the release of UGENE 1.22.0, a packet for work of the molecular biologist providing tools for multiple alignment of the nucleotide and amino-acid sequences, the phylogenetic analysis, editing and annotation of the nucleotide and proteinaceous sequences, maintenance of the bioinformation database, visualization, search of genomic variations, work with chromatograms and many other became available.
Expanded editing tools of summaries in the editor of the sequences are presented in this version. The configuration of display of a framework of reading is simplified. In the PTsR interface support of the expanded alphabet for primers is added. Support of export of an assembly section to the formats BAM, SAM and UGENE is added to NGS.
