To the government... to ensure the implementation of a set of measures aimed at improving the provision of medical care to the population and drug supply to the population, including the phased introduction of a unified federal register of prescriptions of medicines for medical use, medical devices and specialized medical food products, the Kremlin said in a statement.

In April 2022, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation submitted for public discussion a draft experiment on the development of approaches to the formation, accounting, monitoring of prescriptions and the release of medicines through the information system of medical appointments. It is assumed that with the support of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the experiment will be held from July 1, 2022 to May 1, 2023 in four regions of Russia, with positive results, the project will be extended to all subjects.

A pilot project is planned in the Moscow and Belgorod regions, as well as in the republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. The operator of the project will be a subsidiary of CRPT - Cifrozdrav.

State medical and pharmaceutical organizations and state authorities of the regions of the Russian Federation in the field of health protection will become suppliers of information to the system. Private medical and pharmaceutical companies will also be able to participate in the experiment.

Data from the InformSystems will be available to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Russian Federation, Roszdravnadzor and its territorial bodies, participants in the experiment and citizens participating in it.^[1]
