Concerning the unified register of the population. We four months at a stage of studying and the beginning of development of this register. We made all necessary that the state developed in the evolutionary way. But what it is necessary for us? We or will evolutionarily develop 20 years as it was done by the European countries – and we lagged behind for 20 years in terms of digital transformation in many industries, – or in two years we will become the first. And for this purpose it is necessary to be courageous, to do what nobody does, – and then yes, there will be problems, will not accept, will complain, but it is necessary to transform this system and to break it — the minister added. |
In 2019 the prime minister of Ukraine of that time Dmitry Dubilet said that creation of the unified register of Ukrainians will allow to conduct "an electronic census" of the population. In January of the 2020th he estimated the term of work on the project at one – two years.
