2025: Termidesk Connect Presentation
On March 19, 2025, Uveon Cloud Technologies introduced the Termidesk Connect application delivery controller, a solution for load balancing, fault tolerance and scaling IT services. The product completely replaces foreign counterparts such as Citrix and F5 and has tools to manage high-load infrastructures even with the rapid growth in the number of users.
Termidesk Connect combines the technologies necessary for the operation of business applications of any organization: GSLB for georeservation of services, load balancing at L4 and L7 levels, Content Switching for creating flexible query redirection logic, High Availability with configuration synchronization. This allows you to create geodistributed architectures that are optimal for companies with multiple data centers or branch networks. In addition, Termidesk Connect will allow you to quickly process large transaction flows: SSL Offload balances the load at the application level, and the task of encrypting and decrypting SSL is transferred from backend servers to a balancer. This not only speeds up the process, but also increases the level of data security.
In the upcoming releases, the developer plans to add functionality and consider the release of Termidesk Connect in the format of a hardware platform. The solution is in demand in various industries.
The product is suitable for all industries and provides high performance, security and ease of management of IT resources in the context of dynamically changing business tasks. Tight integration with Termidesk VDI enhances desktop virtualization with faster desktop and application delivery and automatic component availability monitoring. This is especially true for organizations with a growing number of remote employees who require uninterrupted access to corporate resources.
When Citrix, F5, Radware, A10, Kemp and other global manufacturers of application delivery controllers left our market, it became much more difficult to design infrastructures using familiar technologies. You can try Open source solutions, but there are also significant limitations here. It takes a lot of time and resources to configure and adapt such software, while there is no guaranteed technical support, which can lead to delays in solving problems and downtime of services. Termidesk Connect is designed to help Russian companies overcome these barriers. When creating it, we focused on the current needs of users, took into account best practices and are confident that its application will allow customers to significantly simplify the processes of creating and maintaining IT systems and concentrate on their key tasks and development, "said Denis Mukhin, Director of Virtualization and Cloud Services at Astra Group. |
