VMware Horizon Toolbox

VMware Horizon Toolbox is means which allows to obtain information on virtual PCs, performance and sessions of users in infrastructure of VMware Horizon View. In effect, the solution provides expansion of product capabilities View Administrator.

2017: Release of Horizon Toolbox 7.2

On July 19 it became known in release of the VMware Horizon Toolbox 7.2 utility by the company.

Among key features of version 7.2 there is a support of the solution VMware Horizon View 7.2. Thus, Horizon Toolbox version number corresponds to the version of a main product now.^[1]

Other changes include:

• Support of audit of actions of end users (the agent is for this purpose put), including such actions as transactions with USB storages, the Client Drive Redirection functions and transactions with a clipboard.
• Availability of the vSphere Console Access function (direct access to the VM console) to all parent VM (Parent VM);
• Error corrections with calculation of sessions and display of available domains at login.

Besides, the Remote Assistance function was removed from a product as now it is a part of Horizon View 7.2 (the section of Help Desk).
