2025: Launching
On October 27, 2025, state sea tests of the Vasily Bubnov small hydrographic vessel, built in Blagoveshchensk at the October Revolution shipyard, were completed. As a result of the tests, an acceptance certificate was signed, which means the successful completion of construction and commissioning of the vessel. This was reported by the press service of the enterprise.
ABN 24 clarifies that the Blagoveshchensk plant specializes in the construction of small fishing, medium-sized mining and auxiliary vessels for the Russian Navy. For about 20 years, the company has been building boats and vessels for the hydrographic service of the Pacific Fleet. Four large hydrographic boats have already been built at this plant, serving in Primorye, Sakhalin and Kamchatka.
Vasily Bubnov is the second ship of the 19910 project of the Vaigach type, built in Blagoveshchensk. The first ship of this series, Alexander Rogotsky, was transferred by the enterprise to the customer in March 2019.
According to ABN 24, the construction of the Vasily Bubnov small hydrographic vessel began in 2020, and the launch took place on July 28, 2024, during the celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy. After that, Vasily Bubnov was transferred from the Amur Region to a delivery base in Primorye, where it was completed, commissioning work, a set of tests (mooring, factory, state) and subsequent transfer to the customer.
According to the Telegram channel "Amur Region|Government," the new ship is named after the shipbuilder engineer, Rear Admiral Vasily Bubnov, a participant in the civil and Great Patriotic Wars.[1][2][3] [4][5]
