The Verbatim company which is a part of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group announced in June, 2017 production of water-soluble reference material on the basis of butandiolovy vinyl spirit copolymer (BVOH) for fast and successful printing of difficult objects with the hanging elements using 3D-printers with a double extruder.
BVOH from Verbatim company is a material which is used for 3D - printings, has extrusion properties and is dissolved for a short time, much quicker, than the materials PVA/PVOH at the moment presented at the market that allows designers to implement 3D - projects much quicker, than earlier.
The print speed of BVOH reaches 30 mm / with, at the same time substance shows good adhesion with different materials, especially with PLA, PET and ABS from Verbatim company that allows users to take advantage which different materials have. For convenience waste can be utilized with household drain waters in a proportion where more than 20 parts of water fall on one part of BVOH that it is very easy to observe.
In combination with use of supporting structures from soluble material, such as BVOH, designers are not forced to resort to the compromises connected with printing of supporting structures on printers with one extruder any more.
BVOH filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm from Verbatim company is available (article No. 55901) already now, the version of filament with a diameter of 2.85 mm will be available, since September.
