Veritas Operations Manager

Veritas Operations Manager allows administrators to visualize and control physical and virtual platforms in a data processing center. Thanks to comparison of data on applications and DWH in Veritas Operations Manager, customers can analyze the most detailed information on all levels of RAIDs, replication, snapshots and dynamic selection of resources – on volumes of data storage, used by each application. Based on these data, Veritas Operations Manager provides to users the ready templates allowing to implement directories of service of storage, to automate providing resources of storage according to levels of service and to provide permanent resource consumption from appropriate level of DWH. Veritas Operations Manager also allows to manage a set of the clusters distributed on any physical and virtual environments from the single console. Now owners of applications, administrators of VMware and administrators of storage systems have the single console which helps to design, analyze and control better storage systems and the systems of high readiness. Veritas Operations Manager works via the program interface vCenter APIs for collecting of the key information helping to develop and display these reports.

• Uniform summary panel for monitoring and management of the transactions Storage Foundation and Veritas Cluster Server in any operating system, whether it be Unix, Linux or Windows
• Visualization at all levels — from applications to groups of disks, with detailed information on arrays, including in virtual environment
• Control panel risks with functions of monitoring and obtaining notifications in real time, messages of SNMP and means of the analysis and elimination of errors
• The automated transactions Storage Foundation and Cluster Server, including management of DMP, providing resources of storage on a host, migration of volumes, multilevel start and a stop of applications and automatic expansion of the file system.
• The reporting and the overview of use of resources of storage, transactions in clusters, loudspeakers of readiness, performance of input-output, use of products, licenses and corrections.
