At the end of December, 2017 the Garmin company announced the Vivofit 4 fitness tracker. Very long battery life became its distinctive feature.

As the producer claims, the wearable gadget is capable to function without recharge within a year in a "normal" usage mode. As accumulators two batteries of SR43 format are used.

The tracker of physical activity is equipped with the small color display with resolution capability 88 x 88 pixels. The screen always is in an active status that negatively does not affect battery life.

The gadget can count quantity of steps, the burned calories and the passable distance, to trace duration and sleep quality, to remind the user of long lack of physical activity.

The Move IQ system will automatically recognize activity (run, driving the bicycle, playing golf, swimming or occupation other sport) the owner of the fitness tracker. Data which are registered by the device are stored up to four weeks. Detailed information on physical activity is displayed in mobile application of Garmin Connect.

Vivofit 4 fitness tracker

The producer carries the moisture-proof body to number of other advantages of a product: the device can use without effects in soul and the pool. The built-in pulsator is not provided.

There is a Toe-to-Toe function allowing to organize competitions to the child or the friend (who made steps more), which have Garmin fitness trackers.

Vivofit 4 is synchronized with the smartphone running operating systems Android and iOS by means of wireless Bluetooth Smart technology. The product weighs about 25 grams and is offered in several options differing in color and the size of a thong.

By December 27, 2017 the Garmin Vivofit 4 model is on sale at the price of $80 that is $20 less than the predecessor's cost — Vivofit 3.[1]
