2019: Agreement signature about cooperation of VinSmart and Fujitsu Connected Technologies

On August 27, 2019 VinSmart announced agreement signature about cooperation with Fujitsu Connected Technologies for joint development 5G-smartphone. All production process "completely Vietnamese the smartphone" will pass in the park of high technologies "Hoa Lach" (Hanoi).

Under the terms of the agreement of VinSmart and Fujitsu will be engaged in development of a line of a 5G smartphones for the Vsmart brand. Devices will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform for 5G networks. In them practices of Fujitsu in the field of energy saving, ensuring water tightness (IP68) and intellectual setup of antennas for work with the fourth and fifth generation of cellular networks will also be used.

Consolidation of Qualcomm Technologies technologies (USA), Fujitsu (Japan) and fast-growing capacities of Vingroup will give to consumers the chance to receive modern and technological smartphones at reasonable price. In April, 2020 the first line of the Vinsmart smartphones with support of 5G networks will appear not only in domestic market of Vietnam, but also in other large markets, including the USA, Europe and Russia.

Consolidation of efforts VinSmart and Fujitsu gives to the Vietnamese team of engineers the chance to study modern technologies and further to develop a 5G smartphones already irrespective of partners. The agreement on cooperation with Fujitsu gives to VinSmart the chance to control chains of production and deliveries of the company and also to take one more step to providing residents of Vietnam and other countries with high-quality and modern gadgets.
