2025: Product Announcement

In early January 2025, Timekettle presented the W4 Pro headphones with the function of automatically translating telephone and video calls into 40 languages. The device works with any telecommunications applications and traditional telephone communication.

According to Techcrunch, the headphones are equipped with the Babel OS operating system, which provides quick language changes and is able to adapt to user dictionaries, preserving the speaker's emotions and intonation when translating.

During operation, the system creates a delay of three to five seconds for speech processing, while the translated text is played at a higher volume than the original speech. Built-in artificial intelligence is also able to create a summary of the content of the conversation.

The headphones can be used not only to transfer calls, but also to communicate in person, passing one earpiece to the interlocutor. The system automatically recognizes speech and performs translation without additional actions on the part of the user.

The Babel OS operating system will also be available for earlier Timekettle headphone models. The company emphasizes that the system is able to predict what was said to speed up the translation process.

The technology provides two-way simultaneous translation with the preservation of the quality of the original voice. The system can be used both for business communications and for personal communication.

The W4 Pro headphones cost $449. The device has already gone on sale on the international market, but information about availability in Russia has not yet been disclosed.

The development allows you to overcome the language barrier when using various communication platforms. The headphones can be used for international negotiations, educational programs and tourist trips.^[1]
