WD SmartWare

WD SmartWare Pro is software for file backup on any external USB drive or to the cloud storage of Dropbox service. When the file was accidentally deleted or lost and also in situations when the user needs to load the previous document revision, this program will help to recover required data with ease.

Thanks to the interface, WD SmartWare Pro it is simple in installation and setup. After completion of initial setup and connection of network drives and external drives the user will be able to manage in one window all the hard drives, the account Dropbox and also specific folders and files. WD SmartWare Pro is compatible to the products WD, such as portable drives My Passport and WD Elements and also to external hard drives with USB interfaces from other producers. Besides, the program provides access to network systems of data storage, such as devices of the My Book Live series.

WD SmartWare Pro offers users two options of backup. In the "continuous" mode the program independently keeps track of relevance of archive and continuously rewrites all new or changed files on the external drive. Having selected option "according to the schedule", the user will be able independently to set frequency of formation and updating of backup copies, for example: each hour, daily or once a month. Also the program allows to preserve data which are stored in the account Dropbox on an external hard drive.

Whether the important document is erased by mistake or there was a need to recover its earlier version — it can be done for read seconds, having used the convenient "interface of data loading". Moreover, WD SmartWare Pro is capable to save to 25 versions of the same file. At the same time recovery both all archive in full, and separate files or folders is allowed.
