Development of the platform for creation of news videos

Mail.ru Group announced start "Watch Mail.ru"
On February 19, 2020 it became known of start of free online movie theater "Watch Mail.ru" by Mail.ru Group company. Service represents the "personal TV channel" selecting various content, basing on the interests of the user.
According to the vice president of the company Anna Artamonova, the Watch Mail.ru service is intended "for background watching video in which it is not necessary to look for the interesting channel or to hunt for transfer or the movie".
In "Watch Mail.ru" it will be possible to watch clips, news, a TV show, video blogs, movies and series, service will have a separate website and applications for mobile devices running operating systems iOS and Android. It will also be built in other Mail.ru Group projects, told Kommersant in the company.
Content for service will be delivered by partner owners, however Mail.ru Group does not exclude that will create in the future own content. The product will be free, monetization will happen to the advertizing help.
It is not the first attempt to create personal television, some online movie theaters already have a similar service, it is popular by users, the director of the department of TV and content of J'son & Partners Consulting Dmitry Kolesov says. According to him, the Mail.ru Group service will allow to earn only from advertizing, considering audience of services of the company (according to Mediascope, the audience of all online projects of holding in December, 2019 made 88.35 million Russians 12 years are more senior).
In further Mail.ru Group, most likely, will go on the way of creation of own content especially as within Odnoklassniki and VKontakte the group already has an experience of creation of a show and work with bloggers, the expert considers.
In "TMT Consulting" estimate the size of the market of online movie theaters in Russia in 2019 more than 17 billion rubles.[1]
