In upgraded version the particular emphasis is placed on security: in service the closed video conferences became available. The initiator of a call selects from the contact list WebMoney Keeper of all whom he wants to invite to a conversation. WebMoney Video identifies the user through WebMoney Login or a sensing technology of persons.

Besides, the number of participants of video conferences increased to 8. The feature for demonstration of the screen and correspondence in a text chat is added. The WebRTC technology provides enciphering of traffic and protection of connection. In addition to the opened and closed video conferences, in service there is a possibility of carrying out online broadcastings.

Upgraded version of WebMoney Video became faster and resistant to high loads that is especially relevant in the period of a pandemic. The service does not require installation of additional programs: it is possible to make video calls from the browser, mobile application of WebMoney Keeper and social and business network WebMoney Events.

According to information for September, 2016 in the version of WebMoney Video there is a possibility of the invitation in the user's video chat, even if it is not registered in the WebMoney system. The call originator on the video.webmoney.ru page needs to create the room for a call, to copy the link and to open a video chat window in the browser. The link can be transmitted to other participants of video conference, for example, through social networks and also through mail or messengers. The contact invited in a video chat can immediately begin communication, a link will be opened in the browser selected by default, including from the mobile device.

To start a video call it is only enough to the participants registered in the WebMoney system to click the corresponding icon opposite to contact in the WebMoney Keeper program.

Also in the version the feature for shutdown of the camera or microphone is added during a call. Confidentiality of a talk is provided with use of the WebRTC standard which is responsible for enciphering of traffic and protection of connections.

Service does not set any restrictions on duration of calls and is completely free.
