WebVue is the client-server application intended for display by the Web browser of symbolic circuits PcVue. WebVue has two components:
- the client (known as the WebVue-client) who is executed by the virtual machine Java in the Web browser with the set Java Java Runtime and Plug-in environment (that is a typical configuration);
The server (known as the WebVue-server) which is a component PcVue. The WebVue-server PcVue uses services Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) for data exchange and security management. The WebVue-server requires installation of the corresponding version Microsoft IIS: versions 5.x for Windows Professional XP, versions 6.x for Windows Server 2003, version 7 for Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate Editions.
The WebVue-client and the WebVue-server interact among themselves by exchange of XML/SOAP of messages, using IIS services which ensure functioning on the scale of Intranet, Internet or through RAS (Services of remote access). The WebVue-server is the PcVue component which manages interactions with the WebVue-client's copies. The WebVue-client is executed by the Java virtual machine in the Web browser and will work at any platform which supports these means. Files of a configuration which define functioning of the client (mainly, files of symbolic circuits) on network connection, are delivered by the supervisor of PcVue, along with real-time data, alarms and historical data
