The Websense company offered the new program for distribution of the Websense DLP system providing fight against potential date leaks, not in type of service on implementation or custom development, and in the form of a finished "boxed" product. Data Loss Prevention gives to potential customers the chance to estimate instruments of information loss prevention in practice before making the decision on purchase of the complete commercial version.

The complexity of implementation of DLP systems significantly slowed down mass distribution of such systems on large enterprises though the need for similar solutions is felt practically by all organizations. The Websense "DLP for Download" program allows to plan more carefully process of implementation of a full-scale system of prevention of leaks. At traditional approach implementation of such systems takes many weeks and even months, and the initiative of Websense company allows to estimate practically at once the potential of the solution and possible problems at its implementation. On free system testing of data loss prevention the Websense company takes away 30 days then the customer can either delete a system, or purchase the complete version of a product.

The modules for control of channels of date leak extended according to the Websense "DLP for Download" program are controlled with the help of the Websense TRITON console which integrates mechanisms of administration and report generation with products of the Websense Web Security Gateway series. The Websense DLP system protects inviolability of data when these data are on long-term storage, are actively used or transferred on channels of data. Besides, the Websense DLP system can conduct both passive monitoring, and active control using the most different means – from notifications before direct blocking of dangerous actions.

During primary research of network the Websense DLP system can scan infrastructure of the enterprise both at the level of network, and at the level of end users. Based on such scanning the report where data sets which are stored incorrectly are specified is created and generate risk of leak. Also the Websense DLP system is capable to trace network and client channels via which date leak is possible. In particular, such mechanisms of potential leak as the HTTP, HTTPS, FTP protocols, instant messaging systems, work with replaceable USB drives, transactions of copying and an insert, an output of documents to printing, creation of screenshots, etc. are traced.

For support of the Websense "DLP for Download" program the special portal where users can find step-by-step video textbooks on deployment of software modules and installation of rules is created. Also from the portal it is possible to load a template the politician and the guide to standard working methods with the system of prevention of date leak. Primary trial license allows to trace browser channels of leak and e-mail for collective numbering up to 500 staff.
