Date of the premiere of the system: May, 2019
Technology: Data processing centers are technologies for DPC

2019: Rostec created mobile data center based on the supercomputer

On May 29, 2019 the Ruselectronics holding entering into Rostec state corporation provided a mobile energy efficient data processing center (World Data Centres) created based on the supercomputer. Development allows to reduce electric power costs more than by 40%. The first presentation of the solution took place in May, 2019 at an exhibition of civil products of the enterprises of a radio-electronic complex of Rostec in Novosibirsk.

Work of World Data Centres is based on use of compact supercomputers of production of JSC Vega Concern (enters into Ruselectronics). At the parameters of 1900х1350х1000 mm they allow to reach the peak capacity, record for such sizes, in 2.2 Pflops and the volume of data storage to 2.2 PBytes. At the same time due to use of technology of submersible liquid cooling of costs of the electric power decrease more than by 40% in comparison with the analogs existing in the market.

Rostec placed in the car data center on the basis of the supercomputer

Allows to deploy the solution both stationary information and analytical systems, and mobile data processing centers based on bodies containers and bodies vans.

"Development supplements a line of supercomputer solutions of Rostec. The equipment has the widest scope of application, can be used for creation of energy efficient data centers in the fuel and energy sector, defense industry complex, on transport and other spheres. The used technologies allow to reduce costs for infrastructure – they do not demand construction of capital constructions and can actually be developed in any premises quickly. At the same time a system can be scaled depending on tasks of the specific customer" — the CEO of Vega Concern Vyacheslav Mikheyev noted.

World Data Centres are capable to function uninterruptedly at ambient temperatures from -50 °C to +50 °C and at air humidity up to 100%. The equipment has the low level of noise, a heat - and moisture protection. Besides, a system is fireproof. It simplifies process of creation of the supercomputer centers and allows to use any premises for these purposes.[1]
