2020: Start of a system

On July 21, 2020 X5 Retail Group announced the beginning of implementation of the Antison system which controls the driver's status, creates the diagram taking into account energy resources of each worker, prevents emergency situations and controls observance of traffic regulations.

The hardware and software system includes the following components:

• video recorder;
• several cameras which equip the vehicle;
• specialized software which is built in  logistic IT architecture of the company.

X5 Retail Group developed and implemented a system which does not allow drivers to fall asleep driving

A system fixes fatigue and  decrease in concentration and prevents falling asleep of the driver. Besides, with  its  help it is possible to monitor actions of the employee which influence  inaccurate and  careless driving: correspondence, smoking, telephone conversations.

Also electronics defines road signs and  a marking, controls distance to  ahead the going car, fixes sharp braking or acceleration. In addition to emergency situations, the program promotes prevention of thefts  — it begins to keep record when opening a back board.

By July 21, 2020 Antison there passed the first test stage by 10 X5 trucks, in the nearest future a system will be implemented in 50 X5 Logistic cars which service distribution centers of Vorsino and Vidnoye. X5 of Logistic includes more than 25 motor transportation enterprises and more than 15 logistic platforms (cross docking), own vehicle fleet consists from more than 4000 vehicles of the different tonnage.

According to forecasts of the retailer, the technology will allow to reduce accident rate at least by 40% and also to cut down expenses on transport – for several tens of millions of rubles. It is noted that Antison is one of the technical solutions developed and applied in X5 directed to decrease in accident rate.^[1]
