XSpider 7.8
Version XSpider 7.8 differs markedly from all previous versions in that it is based on the software core of the flagship product, MaxPatrol as well as modern design, the ability to generate reports in Russian and English, integration with security event correlation systems, etc.
XSpider users can themselves add verifiable IP addresses to the license and add hosts by computer name, which solves difficulties with XSpider licensing in networks using DHCP addressing.
The number of vulnerability checks has also been significantly increased - from about 9,000 in XSpider 7.7 to more than 11,000 in XSpider 7.8. The new version of XSpider 7.8 is fully compatible with all the latest versions of Windows and supports functionality for a full audit of Windows systems.
The XSpider product licensing scheme has also changed - it has become more understandable to buyers and partner distributors.
