Xerox Color C60/C70

Xerox Color C60/C70 is the full-color digital system of printing of the SRA3 format for the organization of work in segments of operational polygraphy and productive color print at large offices.

2019: Start of a set of complementaries

On October 1, 2019 the Xerox company announced start of a set of complementaries which allows to be beyond the CMYK model at printing on full-color the Xerox Color C60/C70 CFM . The option based on Xerox Adaptive CMYK Plus technology adds support of gold, silver, transparent and white toners.

According to the statement of Xerox, using a set of complementaries, printing houses will be able to install in the Xerox Color C60/70 CFM the module Xerox Vivid Toner Kit with special toners (gold, silver, white and transparent) instead of CMYK colors. On replacement of the module no more than 15 minutes are required, thus by one machine it will be possible to add different special effects, without wasting a lot of time for reconfiguration.

Range extension of available Xerox Color C60/70 colors will help small printing houses to enter the growing market of decorative polygraphy at the price of the minimum investments. Gold and silver metallics will draw more attention to printed materials, the white toner will expand printabilities on films and tinted materials, and the transparent toner will add effect of selective varnishing, claim in Xerox.

"It was possible to print complementaries only on flagman earlier the CFM which not each printing house can purchase. We decided to make this technology more available that more market participants used it for business development. The provided option is delivered with the software which allows to manage drawing special toners and to add decorative effects. As of October, 2019 the set of complementaries for Xerox Color C60/70 is already available to the order in Russia.

2017

On February 21, 2017 the Xerox company announced start of modification for full-color the C60/C70 Xerox Color CFM .

Modification of the C60/C70 Xerox Color CFM  — the solution of a wide range of tasks. Thanks to updating the centers of operational printing, departmental printing houses, advertizing agencies, the companies of small business and industrial enterprises will be able to increase the range of the made printed material and to increase its quality.

Main updates and improvements:

• Expanded support of materials

Updated the CFM allow to make even more wide range of products: since pages of dictionaries with a density of 60 g/m2 and finishing with the maps and invitations printed on materials with a density up to 256 g/m2 in bilateral or up to 300 g/m2 in the one-sided mode.

• Enhanced accuracy and image quality

The SIQA system (Simple Image Quality Adjustment) which is built in the CFM provides permanently high accuracy of registration and allows to solve such problems as printing of bilateral business cards with ease. Improved by the CFM are also equipped with management systems for a closed-loop process (Closed Loop Process Controls) that increases printing quality and reduces load of the operator.

• Optimization and automation of workflows

Unlike other machines of a segment, now the C60/C70 Xerox Color CFM  can be equipped with the built-in Xerox FreeFlow controller with modern industrial management tools workflows. Besides, machines can be delivered with the industry-first external EFI Fiery NX print server with Fiery QuickTouch technology. It allows to use the advanced opportunities of industrial department of color, performance and printing quality.

On January 14, 2016 the Xerox company announced release of the C60/C70 Xerox Color CFM .

The devices Color C60/C70 offer users advanced functionality of color management and a possibility of setup of standard processes of document flow. Besides, the model allows to execute a broad spectrum of works on different materials thanks to expanded options of paper feed and on-line finishing processing.

The Xerox Color C60 CFM supports materials with a density up to 300 g/m2, including plastic, a vinyl film. The print speed of Xerox Color C60 makes 60 pages per minute in color and 65 pages per minute in the monochrome mode. The Xerox Color C60 CFM also has drivers which send to the user of the notification when these or those components need replacement.

Print engine

The print engine is a principal component of the system providing unsurpassed printing quality. The module of printing Xerox Color C60/C70 integrated in itself the best technologies of productive offices of Xerox.

Specific Features:

• The raster scanner (ROS) which is based on the VCSEL technology providing high performance when preserving true optical permission 2400 x 2400 dpi.
• Highly sensitive and high-strength photoreceptors
• The Emulsion and Aggregation (EA) toner with the lowered temperature of roasting provides high quality of images, stability of color and high performance
• The mode of a glossy printing (High Gloss) allows to receive attractive glossy images
• As a part of the device 4 photoreceptors (CMYK), including a photoreceptor with the raised resource for black color
• As a part of device 5 toner cartridges: 2 Chernykh (the most used toner), 1 Blue, 1 Malinovy, 1 Yellow

Printing module capacity

In the devices Xerox Color C60/C70 the functions providing performance improvement of printing and reduction of a downtime are implemented:

• Replacement a toner cartridges during printing - the operator can replace a toner cartridge independently at the time of operation of the device without interruption of printing of circulation

• Loading of paper during printing for ensuring continuous production - at the operator is an opportunity to add materials in printing process of circulation.

• The supplies replaced by the user/operator (CRU) for reduction in cost of service and efficiency of replacement of resource parts - the SMART sets allow the user/operator to make replacement of toners, photoreceptors (reels), the thermofixer (fyyuzer), korotron of a charge, capacity for the fulfilled toner and paper clips without call of service engineers.

• Automatic cleaning of a korotron - automatic cleaning allows to delete dust and the contaminating particles that improves image quality and increases photoreceptor service life. Frequency of cleaning of a korotron depends on many factors (the volume of printing, circulations, the area of a coverage, etc.) therefore korotron carries periodically out self-diagnostics for determination of need of the procedure of cleaning.
