Xerox DocuShare is the web focused content management system giving an opportunity it is easy to receive and process digital content, managing and exchanging it in the safe, centralized and easily scalable storage.

2014: Xerox DocuShare 6.6
On August 21, 2014 the Xerox company announced start of the Xerox DocuShare platform of version 6.6.
A content management system (ECM system) of DocuShare is suitable for the working groups of any size. The new version of the solution differs in the improved functionality, the increased performance and enhanced capabilities of scaling.
Users of a system can quickly get access to necessary information by means of the web browser, work jointly on projects and documents, to automate labor-consuming business processes.
In version 6.6 Xerox DocuShare developers added new features, improved performance and expanded solution scaling options. In particular, now administrators can limit the number of the documents stored by each employee and amount of the memory selected for them, to configure indexing of contents depending on type of files and to browse detailed statistics of operation of the server.
At the same time users had an opportunity to apply expanded functions of search and to set any collection of documents as the home page. At the same time in Xerox DocuShare 6.6 the new method of storage of content which simplifies structure of directories is used and increases the speed of backup and recovery of documents.
The updated Xerox DocuShare 6.6 platform is available in three configurations:
- Xerox DocuShare Express is the solution focused on the small working groups which includes basic instruments of workflow automation.
- Xerox DocuShare (Standard) is the full-function ECM system increasing efficiency of interaction in the big working groups.
- Xerox DocuShare Education is the configuration held for use in the field of education.
