White toner of HD EA for Xerox Iridesse Production Press

On October 11, 2018 the Xerox company provided printing option on a long format and a white toner of HD EA (High Definition Emulsion Aggregate) for full-color to the Xerox Iridesse Production Press CFM . It expands possibilities of use of the machine and allows its owners to get competitive advantages.

Full-color the Xerox Iridesse Production Press CFM was started in the Russian market in May, 2018. It is the machine which can cause in one pass four CMYK colors and also toners from two additional sections. At this Xerox Iridesse Production Press prints with a speed of 120 pages per minute, provides a faultless register mark of six flowers and supports materials with a density from 52 to 400 g/m2 that allows to use this machine for the solution of the most wide range of tasks.

Now Xerox Iridesse Production Press can print up to 330x1200 mm on banners of a long format and supports automatic double-sided printing on sheets to 729 mm in length.

The white toner of HD EA allows printing houses to implement special effects which give to normal printed materials the memorable appearance and unique texture. It can be established in one or in both additional sections of the machine along with a transparent toner, gold and silver by metallics. Any of these dyes can be put both under, and over CMYK colors, and use of both additional sections for one pass is possible.

As well as other dyes for Xerox Iridesse Production Press, the white toner is made on HD EA technology (High Definition Emulsion Aggregate) and consists of particles of the optimal size which considerably reduce gloss, smooth tone transitions and transfer fine details. It can be used on the broad range of materials, including black and color, transparent and metallized and also craft and synthetic paper.

In the modern polygraphic market of already insufficiently usual gamma of CMYK. Therefore we decided to go beyond its framework, having integrated in Xerox Iridesse Production Press of a possibility of several printing machines. On May 10, 2018 the Xerox company provided the Xerox Iridesse Production Press CFM which can print in one pass the gold or silver metallized toner, four CMYK colors and a transparent toner.

Xerox Iridesse Production Press can replace with itself several printing machines and technical processes which are usually used for creation of non-standard elements of a design. It increases capacity of printing houses and profitability of production, consider in Xerox.

Using two sections with additional toners of printing house can make products with the die flowers metallized by elements and additional shades, combining the metallized toners with a standard triad. The gold and silver metallized toners can be used as separately, and under or over four-colourful printing. It allows to receive color gamuts with nacreous effect. For creation of illusion of amount or texture it is possible to add a layer of a transparent toner in addition.

The preset workflows in Xerox FreeFlow Core allow to adapt automatically and selectively the text and graphics for printing the gold or silver metallized toner, without editing initial documents. It simplifies adding in products of decorative elements with high value added, the developer noted.

Xerox Iridesse Production Press prints with a speed of 120 pages per minute and supports materials with a density from 52 to 400 g/m2. Also the CFM has, according to the developer, the following advantages:

• The fine emulsion and aggregation toner of HD EA consists of particles of the optimal size which considerably reduce gloss, smooth tone transitions and transfer fine details.
• The Xerox Fiery EX-P 6 Print Server controller allows to create workflows with individual preference for printing the metallized toner, has advanced functionality and management tools in color.
• Two double high-capacity trays and also optional bypass tray and the device for an insert of covers allow to use to eight different materials in one circulation or to seal up to 12500 sheets for one run.
• A wide choice of available finishing options, including the module of scoring and the module of double-sided cutting which in a complex with a finisher-bekletmeykerom and the module of cutting of a front edge high-quality booklets with tripartite cutting and professionally executed back allow to make.
