In early December 2024, the Chinese company Baidu announced the creation of an artificial intelligence-based assistant to help local officials compile ideologically correct texts. The system was named Xuexi Qiangguo Official Document Assistant.

According to the South China Morning Post, the new AI tool was created in partnership with the Xuexi Qiangguo project (the eponymous application for members of the Communist Party, allowing you to study ideology and doctrine). The assistant is based on the Baidu Ernie Bot platform. The Xuexi Qiangguo Official Document Assistant allows you to search for data in articles and statements of the chairman, PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA Xi Jinping ensuring that "all information is strictly verified and verified." The tool can create and finalize official documents.

Xuexi Qiangguo Official Document Assistant, among other things, uses the statements of the Chinese leader about rural development and "moderate prosperity," as well as Xi Jinping's "people-oriented philosophy." In addition to quotes and publications by the Chairman of the PRC, the AI tool uses government materials and messages in its work stateMEDIA, , while providing links to primary sources. In China, as noted by the South China Morning Post, writing material based on the ideology of the Communist Party has become part of the responsibilities of civil servants and employees of state organizations.

According to the China Center for Internet Information Network (CNNIC), by the end of June 2024, the number of users of generative AI in the country reached 230 million. This means that about one in six residents of the world's largest internet market use appropriate technologies.^[1]
