2025: Addition of an AI agent

Yandex B2B Tech introduced an updated version of the SourceCraft team development platform on September 24, 2025. It has an AI agent for the full development cycle, additional security tools, advanced codonavigation and integration with the Yandex Cloud cloud platform for deploying applications. SourceCraft has become a solution for team development in Russia, where the AI agent is built into the full cycle of software creation within one platform. SourceCraft is available for free, and new users can receive grants for cloud services for testing.

AI agent and code assistant

On the SourceCraft platform, AI is used in two modes: agent mode and AI assistant. This approach allows you to get the most out of AI technologies: the AI assistant takes on routine tasks when writing code, and the agent mode helps in difficult tasks that require creativity.

Agency mode speeds up the development process from the idea to the deployment of software products in Yandex Cloud. It will help you create a repository, write code, generate autotests, check security, prepare a pool request and launch a deployment on a cloud platform at a single user request. Thus, SourceCraft is a platform where agent mode covers all stages of development within one platform.

The SourceCraft Code Assistant helps you write code through prompts and auto-completion. Now the tool is able to offer subsequent edits. For example, when editing a function, the system monitors where it is used in the code and offers ready-made fixes. The developer can move from one place to another automatically, without manual search.

Cloud and CI/CD integration

SourceCraft now fully integrates with the Yandex Cloud platform - when performing CI/CD tasks, you can access your cloud services without manually configuring access keys: create virtual machines, load data into object storage, configure databases. The platform allows you to deploy applications in three ways: on serverless containers, scalable cloud servers, or on your own hardware. Added support for GitHub Actions: when transferring a project, the developer does not need to manually rewrite automation scripts - now SourceCraft automatically converts the ready-made settings to its own format.

Code navigation

Code navigation allows you to go to any function with one click and see how it works - including when reading pool requests. Navigation supports popular programming languages, now including C# and Kotlin.

Safety

The platform automatically finds vulnerable dependencies in repositories and sensitive data in code that should not be shared - passwords, API keys and access tokens. The system reports the finds at the stage of writing code, before the changes get into the working version of the application, displays them in the interface and allows you to set the processing priority. The security system helps prioritize to quickly close critical risks and reduce the likelihood of attacks on the supply chain. In the interface, you can prioritize the patch, the process owner, and track progress.

We create SourceCraft as an exoskeleton for the developer - the platform enhances his natural abilities, but does not replace him in decision-making.
