2025: Commissioning
Sveza In November 2025, a robotic system for sorting plywood was put into operation at the Manturov plant of the timber industry group. The automated complex, called "Yasha," is designed to perform one of the most labor-intensive operations in the production cycle.
According to the press service of the enterprise, the robot sorter lifts the sheets of plywood from the prepared foot using vacuum suction cups. After that, he shows each sheet to the operator to conduct a visual assessment of the product quality. Upon receiving a command from the employee, the robot sends the sheet to the appropriate sorting pocket. Previously, this laborious operation was performed manually by two workers.
The introduction of an automated complex fundamentally changed the organization of the labor process. The operator is now focused on quality control functions rather than performing heavy mechanical work. Director of the Manturov plant "Sveza" Nikita Terekhanov said that investments in this project amounted to 12 million rubles. According to him, the company consistently implements projects aimed at improving working conditions.
As indicated on the website of the Sveza Group of Companies, a modern electronic protection system was introduced to ensure the safe operation of equipment at the sorting site. The system automatically stops the operation of robotic equipment when crossing the installed protective zone, which completely prevents potential risks.
The plans of the Sveza timber industry group provide for a further expansion of the practice of introducing robotic systems. According to the press service of the organization, by the end of 2025, a similar automated sorting complex will be put into commercial operation at the company's Kostroma plant.[1]
