2020: Start of sales of the portable ECG monitor from ZIVE warning about risk of a stroke
At the beginning of August, 2020 the Lithuanian company ZIVE began sales of the wearable ECG monitor warning about risk of a stroke. The ZIVE ECG monitor is intended for patients with violations of a rhythm and provides the ECG of medical level with a full range of diagnostic opportunities. The monitor is capable to write to 3 assignments of the ECG and can be used without the attached electrodes.
According to the CEO of ZIVE, the idea of development of personal ECGs devices for monitoring of warm activity arose at survey of patients with complaints to violation of a warm rhythm which cannot be revealed in the regular way. Existing the holder monitors expensive, difficult in use and inconvenient in everyday life, and people with arrhythmia often feel fear and cannot precisely describe to the cardiologist the happened episode. At the same time during medical examination of a deviation on the ECG can be absent.
As a result ZIVE developers created the long-term plan of development for release of the ECG monitor which will allow each patient, irrespective of location and circumstances, quickly and easily to estimate a condition of heart and to contact health workers in case of deviations. The basic principles to which the company at design of the device was guided include ease of use, intuitive design, the adapted program algorithms and data processing in real time.
The ZIVE monitor writes till 72 o'clock the continuous ECG and can be charged less than for an hour. All data remain in an internal memory or are transmitted through Bluetooth on the smartphone. Besides, they can be sent directly to the doctor for further assessment. The device is already used for monitoring of the patients who had a stroke in the largest Lithuanian hospital. Besides, the ZIVE command develops the AI system of forecasting of diseases which on the basis of collected ECGs data should estimate risk of a stroke, FP and other dangerous statuses.[1]
