In the spring of 2018 the ZTE Corporation company presented integrated solution of Common Core 2/3/4/5G. The presentation took place during the World mobile congress-2018 in Barcelona.
The solution based on the sluzhbo-focused architecture (SBA) 3GPP R15 integrates all modes and scenarios of access, including convergence of the fixed and mobile communication (FMC), at the level of network functions (NF) and network services (NS).
ZTE Common Core integrates in itself the network functions and services determined by specifications 3GPP and also functional services of public service networks. All services are focused on meeting requirements to autonomy, reuse and self-government. ZTE Common Core provides services by means of the HTTP/2+JSON interface. The distributed media planes provide a possibility of flexible implementation and guarantee the high performance of readdressing and also support interaction with a c-plane through the standarny interface CUPS (PFCP) protocol.
The solution ZTE Common Core based on the cloud focused concept uses open microservice components, the visual DevOps tool of operator level and technology of easy containers, providing to network segments and functions of a possibility of necessary combination, fast deployment, flexibility and high reliability. Thanks to full virtualization, this development is capable "disconnect" the cornerstone cloud platform, program and the hardware. The solution uses technologies of program and appratny acceleration, satisfying the needs of scenarios of applied application of a 5G for high speed, a small delay time, reliability, etc.
During phases I and II of tests of basic 5G network using experimental IMT-2020 (5G) technology and also in the course of testing of a 5G with participation of the chief world operators basic 5G network from ZTE passed all stages of comprehensive test and validation of service-oriented architecture, network segmentation, service process of a 5G, peripheral calculations and other key technologies. Results of testing of network were highly appreciated by Group of promotion IMT-2020 (5G).
The integrated solution of Common Core 2/3/4/5G, by the principle comparable with providing a 5G access by upgrade 4G EPC, uses the SBA architecture provided by standard 3GPP for the purpose of quality improvement of complex service of users and providing to operators advanced management tools of QoS and also the opportunities of flexible implementation and the standardized service interfaces allowing to implement quickly various innovation services. Besides, Common Core saves operators from need in obshirny upgrades of wireless and basic networks, considerably reducing the general cost value of ownership (TSO).
