2011: Description of Zbackup

Zbackup from SecurIT is a part of the solution Zserver Suite and is intended for prevention of leaks of backup copies of confidential information. Zbackup allows to protect data on magnetic tapes, optical disks and in online storages. For protection of backup copies in Zbackup different cryptographic algorithms with key length from 128 bits, including the cryptographic module of Krypto-PRO having necessary certificates and implementing the Russian encryption algorithm GOST 28147-89 can be used. Zbackup works by the principle of "transparent" enciphering, does not require any reconfiguration of the software and is compatible to the most popular backup systems — CA ARCserve Backup, Symantec Backup Exec, CommVault Backup & Recovery, EMC Legato Networker, etc.

Key feature of the new product Zbackup Cloud — a possibility of enciphering of information at "cloud" backup on remote servers. Use of Zbackup Cloud allows to protect the backup copies of information which are in special "cloud" online storages, emphasized in the company. Zbackup Cloud is compatible to all modules Zserver Suite, in is mute the same algorithms and encryption keys are used, there is a possibility of centralized operation by keys using Zserver Enterprise Key Server. Administration of Zbackup Cloud is performed through Zconsole management system, uniform for all products SecurIT.
