2020: Release of the solution Zebra MotionWorks Proximity

On June 10, 2020 the Zebra Technologies company announced release of the solution Zebra MotionWorks Proximity intended for recognition of approach, tracking of contacts and the notification about danger at the user level for the purpose of preserving of health of employees in a workplace.

As noted in Zebra Technologies, the governments of many countries published directives according to which employers are obliged to develop and implement security policies, including to provide social distancing, tracking of contacts and disinfection. The solution Zebra MotionWorks Proximity conforms to the requirements provided in such directives and is capable to help the enterprises which need the efficient solution for fast resumption of work.

According to the developer, the solution Zebra allows employers to trace where there is an employee and with whom interacts, using management tools and creations of reports and also notifies specific employees on possible danger. Data become attached to an employee identifier or the depersonalized user ID. Thanks to it the management obtains information for practical application, without violating the right of the employees to confidentiality that often is a problem when using other solutions for tracking of contacts. The exact technology of automatic tracking allows to calculate and direct to inspection of employees who could catch and by that to avoid closing of the whole objects quickly.

Located in cloud the software solution supports Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) technologies and Wi-Fi, and implementation and management are executed far off by Zebra company that minimizes presence on the customer's object. SOFTWARE does not require updating infrastructures and it can be unrolled as within existing solutions of Zebra under management OS Android, and on devices of different form factors from different price categories, depending on requirements of the customer, emphasized in Zebra Technologies.
