ZiGGY (robot for charging electric vehicles)

2022: Mobile Robot Announcement

On June 14, 2022, EV Safe Charge introduced the ZiGGY mobile robot for charging electric vehicles. It is designed for use in car parks, shopping and entertainment centers, hotels, fleets, etc.

In addition, ZiGGY's digital advertising server can generate advertising revenue for an object and display personalized information. The ZiGGY is called to the electric car via a mobile app or car infotainment system and arrives at the car's parking lot ready to reserve space for recharging.

ZiGGY can return to its base to recharge from the mains, battery, solar power or a combination of both. The launch is scheduled for 2023. Facilities already ready for use by ZiGGY include the Holiday Inn Express in Redwood City, California, Opera Plaza in San Francisco and The William Vale, a hotel in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.
