2019: Multy Plus

On May 28, 2019 it became known that Zyxel Communications began sales in Russia to Multy Plus - the solutions Wi-fi based on mesh-network. The device provides to customers from the sector of SMB of a possibility of creation of WiFi Mesh of network of a business class with more affordable price which is convenient in use and is unrolled on the Plug and Play model.

Application of advanced standards of security provides protection of network of the growing companies and allows using convenient mobile application to customize a security system of network even if you are far from the office.

Small firms use access points of a commercial class for providing wireless internet access to the guests long ago. However it is extremely inconvenient for small firms as for connection to a local network of these access points it is necessary to spend a lot of time and money. As well management of them is too difficult for the small company because for this purpose it is necessary to be the experienced technical specialist. Thanks to use of technologies of Multy Plus mesh-networks significantly simplifies implementation and use of network and reduces the related costs. For creation of network it is only necessary to place in the territory of company two or more module Multy Plus. And just experienced user of the PC will cope with setup of a complex". Use of these devices with nine internal antennas at small offices and restaurants will provide three-band WiFi on the area up to 1600 square meters with the selected reference trunk backhaul 5 GHz with a speed up to 1733 Mbps.

Multy Plus sets other standards of cyber security, having released a special application of AiShield which provides access from mobile devices to different packets and GUI interfaces.

AiShield supports a number of safety features, including access control, allowing to limit access to tens of thousands of categories of the foreign websites and to 500 applications. Also using AiShield users can browse information on threats and warnings, including data on devices most of which often become the victims of cyber attacks, to receive push-notifications about network threats, one contact to complete or prolong the period of action of user authentication. Using Big Data instantly to analyze network condition, for example, to sort users as their device, to a profile, connection duration, etc.

Each Multy Plus delivers with trial version of AiShield for 30 days, and with a packet of duo the free license AiShield for one year is delivered.

Multy Plus is the solution mesh of Zyxel which can be managed as the application delivered together with it, and using the GUI interface based on the web browser that gives to the companies true flexibility when choosing a method of management of the network.

At application of any of these options of management it is possible to check use of data, to adjust band width allocation and to apply three levels of access rights to network: one for network administrators, the second – for employees and the third for visitors.

Multy Plus also simplifies the procedure of setup of the Captive portal using which users get access to WiFi.

Using the GUI interface the company can configure the Captive portal, set the password for access to its wireless network, terms of use and to upload on the portal of the picture, for example, the logo or the photo.

The majority of access points for mesh-networks are delivered with a limited set of options of installation therefore often their users are forced to buy in addition special mounting sets.

Users of Multy Plus will not face a similar problem because options for installation on a wall, a ceiling, on a table and on a ceiling framework and also a graceful vertical support are included in the standard package of access point.

Zyxel Multy X AC3000 Tri-Band

The ZyXEL Multy X AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi-system provides to Wi-fi connection in big households, necessary for the maximum use of all opportunities of the concept of IoT and modern streamingovy technologies. Each Multy X device implements a covering of a wireless network on the area up to 800 sq.m. Zyxel Multy Pro – the high-performance managed Wi-fi system for service providers. Multy Pro is integrated solution with mesh architecture of Mesh consisting of the equipment, software and auxiliary mobile applications. Multy Pro provides a complete seamless covering of Wi-fi for the big area. It allows to use in any location applications with increased requirements to capacity of the channel (4K of video, VR/AR of the application, etc.) and provides simple management using mobile application. Multy Pro implements the remote control network of the client reducing number of technician visits of provider.

2017: Zyxel Multy Whole-Home WiFi Mesh

On September 18, 2017 the ZyXEL Communications company provided Multy Whole-Home WiFi Mesh Solution technology. It is focused on private users and service providers.

Product provide universal connection to Wi-Fi in the modern digital house.

Multy is offered in two options: Multy X and Multy PRO. Multy X is developed for those to whom it is necessary simple, but rather powerful for WiFi the solution for all house with simple management. Multy Pro is intended for service providers and supports the remote control of WiFi network expanding the list and quality of the services provided to users.

Zyxel Multy creates WiFi mesh network in which there are no dead bands in houses of the big size. Access to network of any part of the house, at the same time the user, passing from the placement to the premises, does not lose a signal. The Multy network automatically switches the user to connection with that Multy device which provides a fixed signal.

Multy X Whole-Home WiFi Mesh System allows users to create the WiFi home network and to manage it by means of mobile application or voice actuation of Amazon Alexa. The tri-band system provides the connection speed and performance of net surfing of the devices connected to it.

Multy Pro Managed WiFi Solution is intended for service providers and helps them to create the network managed by WiFi at the subscriber. Functions of remote control help provider to control a status of a home network of the subscriber, and function of automatic configuring Multy Pro saves costs of working time for its setup.
