2018: Start of web service

On October 16, 2018 the ZyXEL Communications company announced start of SecuReporter web service. Service represents the cloud solution for monitoring and the analysis of security of network allowing not only to receive a detailed information about traffic and threats on the basis of collected data but also to react quickly.

As noted in Zyxel Communications, service is intended for the companies of medium and small business (SMB) which are also vulnerable for cyber attacks and date leaks, as well as large corporations therefore they need to control a situation and to react to risks in real time.

According to representatives of company ZyXEL, SecuReporter is a cloud service of SaaS (Software As A Service) therefore for its use it is not necessary to spend money for creation of infrastructure and deployment of the equipment that makes it available at the price. For its implementation the dedicated server is not necessary that reduces the starting price of the solution. SecuReporter uses all complex of means of the analysis and drawing up reports for processing of each data packet which snares the companies. Thanks to information provided by this service the system administrator can precisely define security risks and set optimal politicians of protection for all network. Besides, the correlation of data on traffic with analytics of behavior of users provides monitoring using the card of network according to which it is quickly possible to estimate network condition, covering several platforms.

Record and data exchange and results of analytics of SecuReporter can be performed using the configured reports. These reports are generated according to the schedule daily, weekly or in a month and to them it is possible to add the names determined by the user and diagrams. In addition to access with the PC to service via the portal the SecuReporter application issues notifications on mobile devices of system administrators, helping them to trace network condition, to detect problems and cyber attacks in real time, the developer noted.

With SecuReporter -to providers it is easier to sell service to clients services of security, working in real time, and the instant notification allows at once after detection of threat to take necessary measures of protection and recovery. Flexible configurations protection personal data of SecuReporter help to provide fulfillment of requirements GDPR and other laws on protection of personal information. According to Zyxel, the personnel of the companies of the sector of SMB without problems will understand and will begin to use results of analytics of SecuReporter. If the speed of network fell, then having made several mouse clicks, the administrator learns in what the problem reason (for example, someone in network was connected to the server of a streaming video or swings from torrents).

As reported in Zyxel, SecuReporter at first will be available to the advanced gateways of security of ZyXEL of the ATP series, and then and to all line of the gateways ZyXEL ZyWALL. Users of ZyWALL will be given an opportunity of free fact-finding testing of SecuReporter within 30 days or a subscription to service for one year with support to one thousand devices on one account. To start work it is necessary to be registered on the SecuReporter portal and to activate the corresponding license on the device.

SecuReporter will be available to clients of ZyXEL in Russia since November 1, 2018, and mobile application will appear in the first quarter 2019.
