2018: Zyxel VPN2S
On May 14, 2018 ZyXEL announced release of the firewall for small business - Zyxel VPN2S. The device, is capable to solve in a complex problems of creation of network infrastructure for small or home office: protect internal networks from external threats, it is safe to connect remote workers, provide to authorized users access to the cloud storage of the enterprise.
The gateway is equipped with five gigabit ports Ethernet, two of which can be configured for work both with LAN, and with WAN as connections. Onboard VPN2S there is an USB port for connection 3G/4G of modems and switching to the reserve LTE channel in case of failure in the basic. Such configuration provides not only continuous communication, but also balancing of loading in case of a high load on one of channels.
The device supports VPN under the protocols IPSec, PPTP and L2TP.
Support of VPN channels will allow the enterprises to connect safely external employees or remote locations and to provide them access to necessary information from any place in the world at any time as if they are in head office.
ZyWALL VPN2S offers the SPI Firewall functions protecting from such threats as DoS of the attack, IP-based of the attack, not authorized remote connection, abnormal volume of traffic and many other.
