Development-South Corporation has accelerated the coordination of documents with Directum RX with built-in artificial intelligence

2025: Translation into electronic form of contractual and accounting work

The federal developer Development South"" translated into electronic form contractual and accounting work. The introduction of a platform Directum RX with a built-in AI platform made it possible to unify the company's processes in six regions and reduce the timing of approval: contracts - by 20%, accounts - by 12%. As of September 2025, almost 500 employees of the corporation work in the system. This was Directum announced on September 30, 2025.

Before the introduction of Directum RX, Development-South operated dozens of different contract templates and approval routes. This slowed down the work and increased the risk of errors. With the transition to the digital platform, it was possible to build a single document flow scheme: 18 types of contracts and 11 types of accounts were identified, a dynamic selection of approvers and verification of counterparties was set up.

At the next stage, the company introduced artificial intelligence from Directum. The system automatically compares contract versions and highlights differences, which reduces the likelihood of missing critical edits. When working with accounts, AI helps to form negotiation routes, appoint responsible persons and eliminates unnecessary iterations of approvals.

Another task is to comply with the requirements of the legislation on project declarations. If earlier lawyers personally followed the timing of the update, now the system itself forms reminders, requests data from those responsible and controls the execution of tasks.

Project results:

• The system employs 496 users in 80 legal entities;
• more than 32 thousand contracts and 78 thousand accounts were agreed in electronic form for 3 years;
• the agreement period for contracts was reduced by 20%, accounts - by 12%;
• increased transparency of processes.

The Directum RX platform stood out for its functional completeness and ready-made scripts. Despite the peculiarities of the processes, we were able to adapt universal configurations for ourselves. This is a technologically mature solution with high development potential, - said Ivan Melnikov, head of the automation department at Development-South.

The company continues its digital transformation: it is planned to make the process of comparing versions a mandatory part of the agreement agreement, translate legal applications for the preparation of documents into digital, integrate the system with EDO services and consider the implementation of Directum HR Pro for personnel document management.
