On September 19, 2025, Nanosoft Development announced the introduction of nanoCAD at the Research Institute of PTES.

Selection process

Earlier, employees of the Research Institute of PTES solved these problems by means of foreign software products. Now it was necessary to replace these products, which means to find domestic software with no less powerful functionality and similar capabilities.

Competing products were compared in performance, display quality of 3D models, degree of detail, interface convenience. An important factor is the presence of registration in the register of domestic software. Competitors were rejected one after another: they were not satisfied with the weak capabilities of 3D modeling, the disadvantages of the interface or the lack of universal mechanisms. According to representatives of the PTES Research Institute, the nanoCAD platform also attracted:

Test period and adaptation dates
