2026: Digital System Unification
First Bit has completed a project to digitalize the Yekaterinburg Medical Center (EMC), one of the private medical networks in the Urals. The task was to combine the work of three branches, a hospital, an emergency room and its own laboratory within the framework of a single information system. This was announced by "First Bit" on February 11, 2026.
Prior to implementation, EMC used an inconvenient self-written software solution that, although familiar to staff, seriously limited business development. The connection of modern services (for example, an online recording module) was difficult, and the impending requirements of legislation for integration with Uniform State Health Information System threatened the continuation of licensing activities.
After a thorough market analysis, EMC chose the Chelyabinsk office of First Bit as its IT partner, whose representatives demonstrated to the management of the medical company the work of the industry solution BIT. Managing a medical center in a real clinic in Chelyabinsk, which confirmed the functionality and own competencies for automating medical organizations.
The key arguments in favor of BIT. The management of the medical center was the possibility of deep adaptation to established business processes and the shell of the 1C: Enterprise platform, already familiar to the clinic staff.
A feature of the project was a synchronous start. After the preparatory stage, which included process description, data transfer and training, the entire network of four branches switched to software at the same time. It was decided to abandon the phased launch in order to avoid derogation of reporting.
As a result of the implementation, the entire network of medical centers now operates in a single database, which made the patient's medical history available to any doctor in any branch. The registry has received tools for managing the schedule throughout the network, and color marking in the general schedule allows you to instantly identify the reception branch. Integration with online recording services was also implemented, which improved the influx of new patients.
The integration of laboratory analyzers with the system eliminated the need for manual input: the results of the studies automatically enter the patient's electronic medical record and are shown to the doctor when entering the program. If the test results are critical, the system automatically displays a pop-up notification to the doctor directly on the computer desktop, which allows you to quickly respond to dangerous conditions.
| Previously, before the introduction of the new solution, doctors spent significant time on documentation. Now, thanks to the patterns of examinations, this time has been reduced, which allows more attention to be paid directly to the patient. And the automatic sending of materials on the diagnosis after admission increases the involvement of people in the treatment process, - said Daria Akulova, director of the Yekaterinburg Medical Center. |
The management, in turn, analyzes the work after the implementation of the solution, studies the exact data: the system generates custom reports on the cost of initial admission, the effectiveness of appointments and the movement of patients between specialists.
| Our approach is to deeply customize the stock solution for the unique processes of a particular clinic. For EMC, we were able to harmoniously combine a registry, doctors, a hospital and a laboratory in one circuit, creating a truly centralized and fault-tolerant system. As part of the project, we also optimized appointments to eliminate overlays in the schedule, and set up seamless integration with instant messengers for the convenience of patients. Special attention was paid to compliance with the standards: the system now automatically transmits the necessary data to the Uniform State Health Information System, relieving the routine load from the staff, "said Dina Maslak, leading manager for corporate clients at First Bit in Chelyabinsk. |
