"T-software" implemented a billing system for the Moscow operator "Zvezda Telecom"

The T-soft company completed implementation of the automated billing system (ABS) of CombiBilling 2.0 for the Moscow telecom operator Zvezda Telecom specializing in provision of services in business centers of Moscow and (not rented) optical network more than 100 km long having own.

The network of the operator is built based on the equipment Juniper Networks. Each nodal MX80 router which is located in separate business center is connected by channels 10 Gbps or 2 Gbps with the main geographical and spaced routers MX 480. MX480 execute a role of boundary BGP routers, and from them statistics on traffic gathers. Using a new billing system within the project the problem of correct collecting and processing of statistics about traffic on the IPFIX protocol which succeeded proprietary NetFlow from Cisco Systems was also solved.

As noted, implementation took about 1 month since prior to works the main parts and expectations of the operator were worked attentively out.

The technical director of Zvezda Telecom Veliyev Igor noted: "Solutions from "T-software" have excellent reputation long ago in the market therefore the choice of ASR CombiBilling for needs of Zvezda Telecom became simple as soon as in "T-software" confirmed existence of a subsystem of collecting and data processing under the IPFIX protocol".
