March 30, 2015. The Moll's ABBYY company announced creation of a system of the joint communications based on Microsoft Office 365. Cloud services of Exchange Online and Lync Online allowed to build effective communication between 250 employees of the company, to cut time for signing of the contracts by half, and for discussion in project teams 50-70% less time, than earlier now leaves. Besides, use of IT services allowed to save "Moll's ABBYY" more than 1.2 million rubles, representatives of the company integrator reported TAdviser.
Project Progress
Need of creation of a system of communications for the company arose because about 5% of working time of employees left on the organization of negotiations and meetings that impeded effective implementation of tasks. The model of lease Microsoft Office 365 offered by consulting company "Fortis" allowed to integrate computers, tablets and smartphones of employees in a uniform ecosystem for work from any device regardless of location. According to the estimates of company management real saving of time when implementing projects reaches 10 man-hours that speaks about significant increase in efficiency of business processes.
The subscription to IT - Microsoft Office 365 service considerably reduced the cost of ownership of IT infrastructure and costs for initial system deployment and also saved the company from need of permanent monitoring of servers with office applications. The economic benefit from transition to new model of use of IT made 3.5 million rubles counting upon 10 years of use and more than 1.2 million on solution deployment.
A choice for benefit of technologies of Microsoft was made as earlier as e-mail server in "Moll's ABBYY" used Microsoft Exchange 2007, for the organization of electronic document management and a corporate portal – Microsoft Sharepoint, and Microsoft Office applications were applied as the main working tools.
Development Plans
In plans of company management will get rid of outdated telephone sets, having replaced with their functionality Microsoft Lync. Among strategic plans – transfer of a corporate portal of the company on leased cloud infrastructure.
