Ескай.ру used Infor SCE technology for optimization of logistics

On December 19, 2016 the company Infor announced implementation of technology Infor SCE in Internet- shop Esky.ru. Works in the project were performed by the company Eksid Consulting.

Project Tasks

With growth of number of orders before the company there was a problem of expansion of warehouse platforms and optimization of a system of logistics. The ready-made solution for management of a warehouse (WMS) with a big resource of performance, lack of restrictions for the range and the number of transactions fulfilled by integration into the equipment and the software of other vendors was required.

A choice was made for benefit of Infor SCE and the partner of Infor in Russia – Eksid Consulting company, as the system integrator. One of the main requirements to the project - an accurate adherence to deadlines of implementation and an opportunity not to reduce service quality and the number of orders in the course of implementation.

Project Progress

Project implementation took about six months. The company contractor optimized the system of logistics in a warehouse complex, integrated it with the ERP system, provided personnel training. The management system functioned in the normal mode.

The solution Infor automates a number of the transactions which are earlier executed manually - accounting of an expiration date of goods, to introduce the system of address storage in a warehouse.

Project Results

Fivefold reduction of percent of regrading became a consequence of software implementation and optimization of a part of transactions, more than ten times the accuracy of a complete set of orders increased and almost by one and a half times warehouse employees productivity grew.

The warehouse is the integral component of our business, our main production site. If earlier we controlled not all points of passing of the order, then with Infor SCE implementation process of preparation of the order became completely transparent. We can increase order amounts, saving the high accuracy of a complete set and service quality. We had technical capabilities for further expansion of business.
