IBS delivered the VDI system to the Voronezh integrator - Linnova company

The IBS company by request of Linnova system integrator performed delivery of the licenses to use Parallels VDI – the software package for virtualization of jobs of users developed in Russia by specialists of IBS and Parallels. This project proved high efficiency of VDI systems not only for large, but also for medium business.

Linnova is the Russian system integrator providing services in SMB sector. Primary clients of Linnova company are the companies of small and medium business, holding structures and manufacturing enterprises. IT infrastructure of Linnova company is located in own data center in Voronezh. Recently the Linnova company actively develops providing cloud services.

The aspiration to cost optimization on maintenance of geographically distributed clients and also need of quality improvement of service and speed of response to emergency situations became premises to use of the solution for virtualization of jobs.

As the solution of a task the product Parallels VDI from IBS (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) – the system of virtualization of jobs of users developed in Russia jointly by specialists of IBS and Parallels companies was selected. It allows to develop in large and medium-sized companies infrastructure of virtual work places which provides to users secure access to their corporate applications, resources and documents in any place and from any device that is especially relevant for the geographically distributed companies. Local computing powers and resources are not required for users, all system and application programs are stored and executed on virtual machines in corporate data processing centers ("a private cloud"), also data of users are stored in the same place.

Main advantage of the product Parallels VDI is use of technology of container virtualization which provides more economical use of hardware capacities, in comparison with gipervizorny virtualization. To ensure functioning of the same quantity of virtual work places, it is required twice less computing resources and resources of storage systems that provides double economy on project cost in comparison with other solutions which are available in the market.

Solution integration of Parallels VDI allowed Linnova company to create ergonomic structure of virtual work places and to save considerable means due to lack of need to support the qualified IT specialists in regions for service of workstations. Also the company had an opportunity more effectively to use server resources, having directed the released capacities to the solution of new tasks of business.
