МТТ (SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise)

The Lanit group completed the project of creation of a system of the analytical reporting for the longhaul operator Multiregional Transit Telecom. MTT provides telecommunication services and provides the organization of effective interaction of 300 networks of mobile operators and more than 100 networks of operators of fixed connection in Russia among themselves, with 50 foreign operators.

Works on creation of a system of the analytical reporting occurred in the conditions of intensive changes of business processes of the customer - entry into the market of end users as the operator of an intercity and international telecommunication of the Russian Federation and upgrade of a billing system. With respect thereto originally offered plan was transformed to the whole sequence of projects on creation of single analytical solution for several divisions of the customer – marketing, commercial and financial and economic.

The new system of the analytical reporting allows employees of "MTT" to analyze quickly passed traffic and to control the related economic operation parameters, including income from traffic transmission and accomplishment of the budget for traffic and also to estimate indicators of development of company services and to develop rates for clients.

The products Business Objects Enterprise Professional and BusinessObjects OLAP Intelligence and also the Microsoft SQL Servers of 2005 Integration Services capable to provide processing of large volumes of data became a technology basis of a new system. So, for one cycle of loading in a system about 250 million records are processed that corresponds to 40 GB of data.

In 2007 the company is going to expand systems capabilities of the analytical reporting due to connection of new sources of data on traffic of the subscribers of "MTT" using communication services MG/MN.

According to the deputy CEO for information technologies of "MTT" Victor Bertyakov, "in a project deliverable the staff of the company reduced a set-up time of reports on structure of the transit traffic processed by MTT network and mastered new technologies of multidimensional data analysis without involvement of IT specialists of the enterprise".
