The APC by Schneider Electric company performed the Russia's first implementation of the infrastructure management system of data processing centers (Data Center Infrastructure Management, DCIM). Alexey Solodovnikov, the head of the Russian division of Schneider Electric Datacenter Solution Team reported about it on November 21, 2012.

A system was unrolled in DPC of MegaFon company in Novosibirsk and covered 200 racks with telecommunication and the IT equipment that as consider in APC, is the large-scale project not only on Russian, but also to the European measures.
The software packages DCIM work with the equipment located in machine halls of DPC, using also the data arriving from automated control systems for the engineering equipment. DCIM operate with data of temperature sensors, humidity, energy consumption measuring instruments, contain data on distributing of power supply, placement of racks, the server hardware in racks, cable connections and filling of communication panels.
