PSF "RUST" increases design performance through Revit Architecture
Background
PSF "RUST" owing to specifics of production should take part in tenders that imposes high requirements to terms of execution of works. With respect thereto there was a need of automation of design process and also preparation of presentation materials. PSS company recommended a linking of Autodesk Revit Architecture and 3ds Max as the best solution for similar tasks.
Result
The PSS engineering and consulting company rendered assistance to RUST Project Civil Engineering Firm LLC in implementation of Autodesk Revit Architecture. The project allowed PSF "RUST" to minimize dead times, to increase efficiency and competitiveness during creation of tender projects thanks to integration of the advanced solutions of Autodesk.
Implementing solution took about three weeks. As a result of a pilot project design of an object in Revit Architecture, automatic obtaining specifications, fast execution of documentation and unloading of model in 3ds was provided to Max. It was succeeded to achieve double reduction of terms of design, a complete elimination of errors and inconsistency in documentation and also reduction of terms of visualization by 5 times.
Opinion
"Recently we observe the serious growth of interest in the solution Autodesk Revit Architecture, - Alexander Vysotsky, the expert of PSS company comments. – Experience shows that an opportunity to reduce several times time spent for creation of the project with a simultaneous growth of quality in the course of creation of 3D models becomes more and more powerful competitive advantage – in particular for those companies which regularly participate in tenders. Autodesk Revit Architecture was initially developed as the effective instrument of three-dimensional design therefore also the choice in its advantage looks quite logically".
