The Russian MARS monitors Japan

LAC holding – the leading international solution provider in information security field (Japan), purchased the license for the monitoring system of MARS developed in Expert-System company (Russian Federation).

The software package MARS (Monitoring Analyses and Reporting System) is intended for tracking in real time (frequency of updates of times per second) different system and applied parameters of software and hardware packages. Unlike many monitoring systems agents of monitoring of MARS are focused on tracking of a status of any devices and software working under a certain protocol or the standard and are not limited to monitoring only of the certain systems of certain producers.

This fact became a key argument for benefit of replacement available in one of data centers of LAC holding of monitoring systems (including IBM Tivoli Monitoring) to MARSOM which allows the acquirer to scale easily a product without considerable investments.

Training of the Japanese engineers took 2 weeks. On May 20 the Japanese specialists independently completed the MARS installation. The first stage of product introduction made two months, including localization: setup of a system for work with data in Japanese.

Parallel testing of MARS and IBM Tivoli was successfully complete on May 31. MARS controls 104 devices in Kitokata (Fokusim's prefektrur).
