Project Objectives

Long-term support of the business development strategy became a main objective of implementation of the ERP system of AVARDA in 003.ru company. In 2005 the company management made the decision on involvement of new large investors, on integration of the company, expansion of an assortment row and increase in turnover. At this time the 003.ru company purchases online stores M3x.Ru, Byttehnika.Ru, Technopolis.Ru.

Implementation of similar business strategy had to entail expansion of the staff of personnel almost twice, from 80 people to the 150th persons. The information system existing at the time of the beginning of conversions had no stock of performance and scalability sufficient for support of the enlarged business and implementation of all drawn-up plans. Its further use significantly would slow down development, and acquisition of the new software became the critical requirement of business.

As a result of the held tender the company management of 003.ru selected the ERP system of AVARDA developed by the Russian company Ansoft. During the project in the conditions of enlargement and dynamic business development of 003.ru it was going to create the single database of operational accounting for all divisions of the company, to provide scalability of the solution and to make close integration with the Internet portals and call center.


Project Progress

Implementation of the ERP system of AVARDA in 003.ru company began in May, 2006 and was performed by joint project team into which representatives of Ansoft and 003.ru company entered. Adaptation of the ERP system of AVARDA under specifics of business processes of the customer which proceeded until the end of November, 2006 became the first stage. Input in trial operation of the AVARDA system according to the plan followed an adaptation stage. But in connection with the seasonal loading connected with New Year's Eve sales it was postponed for January, 2007. Input of the ERP system of AVARDA in commercial operation took place in April, 2007.

During the project bilateral exchange of the ERP system of AVARDA with MySQL DBMS for the purpose of integration with the Internet portals was organized and also integration of AVARDA with a management system for call center of Naumen is made. Integration was accompanied by development of a number of the mechanisms upgrading Internet trade process. For example, the mechanism allowing by means of the automatic caller ID is implemented, receiving calls from clients, to instantly obtain the detailed information on interaction with them.


Project Results

In a project deliverable in 003.ru company a common information space is organized. In the AVARDA system the central office, branches, call centers, online stores, the delivery services work. At simultaneous operation about 100 users, time of an information access does not exceed 3 seconds.

In a project deliverable goods storage costs in a shipment warehouse (a warehouse of office) are optimized. For this purpose in the AVARDA system the special mode is created. Now at execution of the request from the buyer the reservation document of goods in a distributor warehouse is automatically created if there are no these goods in a warehouse of office. Therefore only the most popular goods and in a small amount are stored in a warehouse of office.

As a result of close integration of the ERP system of AVARDA with Internet portals 003.Ru, M3x.Ru, Byttehnika.Ru, Technopolis.Ru, load of personnel was reduced, possibilities of Internet trade extended. Buyers do the order by phone or on the Internet, trace an order status online or through the operator. Account managers have the convenient tool for high-quality and productive work. With respect thereto the 003.ru company managed to reduce costs. Speed of the made transactions was not required as the functionality and system performance allowed to automate the most part of routine work, to raise yet an essential staff increase of employees which had to cause business enlargements and to evenly distribute loading among the existing number of employees.

The implemented solution has the scalability and a stock of performance keeping business development. The functionality of the AVARDA system and also its integration with the Internet portals and call centers increased efficiency of the main business processes of trade holding. The AVARDA system provides transparency of business and attractiveness of 003.ru company for investors. The company has all opportunities and premises for further enlargement and development.
